What I like about helping Haiti.
Last night I was watching a telethon Dutch TV for Haiti. And yes people could cal in and donate money to all the Dutch celebrities operating the phone.
But what was nicer were the initiatives to collect money by all the kids. They held car wash activities, went singing from door to door for money, sold toys they don’t use in garage sales. The most creative things you could think of, the kids did.I think that besides helping a country in dire need of money and help, these actions teach kids who have it all compassion in the true sense of the word.
By really lending a helping hand.
